Layered like an onion, this piece explores themes of regret, compulsive rumination over "sins" from the past, colonialization, guilt carried like a cross from a religious upbringing, women being expected to smile and be gentle regardless of the situation, and merges the human body into the natural environment.

This mixed media collage was created with hand-cut vintage paper, and often with upcycled or found supports ( the surface on which they are attached ). Each piece has wire or some other hardware on the back to hang on the wall.
