Bleu Pastel Ou Rose Bonbon

Named after a song from 1969 that was part of my parents' record collection, and exploring the antiquated notion of their being only two genders, this mixed media artwork was created with vintage paper, acrylic paint and acrylic ink on a found wood panel. Due to the nature of the panel used for this piece, it has a single, securely attached sawtooth hanger on the back for hanging, rather than wire. All of my layered mixed-media collage take weeks or months to create. Small bubbles and cracks are part of the process, not flaws.
